Silent Shebang

Did you miss us? We’ve been working hard, and blogging little. We know that’s not what you’d expect from an Internet business, but we’re weird. Lots of little changes and features have gone into this new release (codenamed “Silent Shebang”):

Tipsy Tips: We’ve got so many cool features that we’re tired of blogging about them. That’s why we’ve added this info box that’ll give our users relevant tips about what can be done with our amazing software. So don’t be surprised if you get messages like “Refine your query”, or “View these results on a map”, or “You shouldn’t be doing this at work”. And if you want to turn it off, then you can’t. How cool is that?!

My Maps: Just like mapping search results, you can now map the results you save. You can then share the map with your grandma and tell her you drew it by hand. Just don’t forget to give us credit for the idea.

Refinements Rock: We’ve added a date refinement so you can view flats added in the past month, week, or during the era of Mr. Blair. Now you can also click the agent’s name to see results from only that particular agent. There’s also a new refinement for floor size, but use it with care - unfortunately very few agents in UK specify that information. It makes us cry too.

Drop by: We’ve also started showing some agent offices on the map, so you know where to leave that suitcase full of cash for the chelsea flat you found on extate.

Quote me: Douglas requested this, we obliged. You can now search for phrases like “amazing views”, or “sought after garden square in the heart of Chelsea”.

More Grass: We’ve watered the grass on our logo, it looks better and healthier. For all you cosmopolitans: we’ve even added country names to our logos so you don’t forget where you are.
